Meghan McPherson, assistant director for the Center for Heath Innovation (CHI) and
program coordinator for the Graduate Program in Emergency Management at Adelphi
University, recently shared her expertise in disaster preparedness on Your
Health Matters. Meghan discussed the
importance of personal preparedness and safety as to best help first responders
and families in the event of a disaster.
Currently CHI is working in communities to build capacity for emergency
response and future research through its Resiliency Grant Program. To learn
